Onboard a Belgian company

Add a Belgian company and complete its e-invoicing registration before sending invoices. Have its legal, tax, branch, source and Peppol participant details ready.

Add the company

Open Onboard and choose Add Company. Complete the identity fields shown for Belgium. The required fields are marked in the form.

Add a branch and source

Enter the primary branch’s name, identifier and address when asked. Enter Source Name and Source Version for the system that sends invoices from this branch. Keep these values for API requests: the source is name:version.

Complete Peppol setup

If the form offers Peppol setup, follow its prompts to register a participant or use the company’s existing participant ID. Verify the identifier against the company’s registered information; Belgian enterprise-number participants use scheme 0208 and a ten-digit number. Do not invent a participant ID.

Review the registration

Check the company, branch and participant details, then finish onboarding. Open Onboard to see the company card and its registration status. Wait until registration is complete before trying to deliver invoices.

Check the result

The company card shows its branches, source details and e-invoicing status. Where applicable, check the participant ID shown for the branch. If you need another branch, choose Add Branch and complete its details. For the full portal flow, see Onboard a company.

If something goes wrong

  • A required field stops you: Read the message below that field, correct the value and continue.
  • The participant details do not match: Confirm the Belgian enterprise number and existing Peppol registration with the company before retrying. The Peppol Belgian enterprise-number rule requires a valid ten-digit number for scheme 0208.
  • Registration stays Pending: Use Refresh status if it appears, check again later and contact support if it does not change.

Next, prepare a Belgian invoice.
