Use the default UAE mapping

Connect your customer’s source to the mapping used for invoice submission. You need an onboarded source and access to the ISV Developer portal.

Find the default resources

Open Integration engine in the Developer portal and look for Default GETS Mapping. In Payload Manager, look for Default UAE GETS Payload.

GETS is Complyance’s standard invoice format. The payload describes the invoice data you send; the mapping connects that data to the fields needed for invoicing. Defaults are specific to the workspace and environment.

Check source assignment

Open the default mapping’s source panel and review Automatically assign new Sources. When enabled, new company and branch sources are assigned to the designated default during onboarding. Turning it off affects future sources and does not remove existing assignments.

After onboarding, check readyForInvoicing in the response. true confirms that this source is ready for submission. When it is false, review mappingReadiness.code and use the readiness actions.

Customize the mapping

The generated default’s standard fields are read-only. You can maintain custom fields without changing those protected mappings. The generated default cannot be renamed or deleted, and its generated country and payload cannot be replaced.

If you need to change standard mappings, choose Duplicate mapping. Edit and validate the copy, then explicitly designate the intended default for the environment. Review existing source assignments separately; creating or selecting a copy does not silently replace them.

An existing workspace may already have a custom designated mapping. Check that configuration before changing it.

If something goes wrong

No default is configured: select the intended validated mapping for this environment before submitting invoices.

A source has a conflicting assignment: inspect the source’s current mapping. Change it deliberately rather than recreating the company.

Next, prepare an invoice using the payload your mapping expects.
