Read developer notifications

Check the in-app alerts about your API keys, sources, webhooks and onboarding while you work in the Developer portal. Choose the country and environment in the Invoice Portal first.

The Developer portal’s Notifications item opens the same Notifications page as the Invoice Portal. It is where you see alerts about your integration setup, such as a change to an API key or a source, or a webhook that could not be delivered.

Open your notifications

  1. Choose the country and environment you want to review. The Developer portal has no switchers of its own: it uses the ones you last chose in the Invoice Portal. See Switch country, environment and portal.
  2. In the Developer portal menu, select Notifications. An unread indicator appears when new items are available.
  3. Read an item’s title and message. Choose View if it links to a related page.

The page opens with the Invoice Portal menu beside it, including the country and environment switchers. Use the portal switcher to return to the Developer portal.

Items are grouped by date. New items have a blue dot. Mark as read, Mark all as read and Delete manage items; Mute stops pop-up alerts without removing anything. Leaving the page marks unread items as read.

Notifications is not in the Developer portal menu while Test Mode is on.

What developers are notified about

  • API Key: an API key was created or revoked. Check that the change was expected.
  • Source Added and Source Removed: a source was linked to, or unlinked from, an integration mapping or branch.
  • Webhook delivery failed: Complyance could not deliver an event to your endpoint. The message names the event and the reason. Check the endpoint, then choose Enable on the webhook. See Manage a webhook.
  • Onboarded Successfully: a company finished onboarding, so you can link its source.

The full list, and how to get emails too, is in Read notifications.

Notifications or webhooks

Notifications are for people reading the portal. If your application needs to react to events, set up a webhook: it sends each event to your endpoint as it happens.
